PJ THE PHOTOGRAPHER

The first camera was a Yashika camera without any automatic. I bought it with the first money I earned as a sales engineer. The pictures one could shoot with this “high tech” peace where amazingly sharp and clear and it was possible to show that there are 3 dimensions; not only 2.  I bought a lot of books about photography, read them and learned a lot by try and error. One camera only was not good enough and the collection was extended by a Canon A1 and later by a Canon T70. I changed soon to slides instead of paper.

Thousands of pictures were shot to fill every free space in my cabinets. The challenge was now, to show them. My old projector was not satisfying any more and was soon replaced by two tape controlled professional projectors. They could show the pictures by overlaying them and playing the right music to it.

My shows became so famous that nobody wanted to visit us any more because they were scared that I would present a slide show. Even if all this more than 25 years ago, I still enjoy to watch this shows which took me many nights to compose them.
